People

The team at Belleng VDM is comprised of both senior and emerging professionals in the disciplines of civil, hydraulic and environmental engineering, as well as ecology, soils and environmental science. Our affiliation with VDM Group allows us to draw on this firms extensive expertise in urban design and planning, civil, structural, traffic and marina  engineering and strategic landuse planning.

Information Technology

Belleng VDM maintains a well equipped and extremely capable information technology section with the in-house capacity to produce technical plans, graphic images and computer models of the highest standard. Our graphics capability offers great advantages in project planning and design, particularly with regard to community consultation or approvals negotiation. Our expertise in flood and water quality modelling is an essential component of the environmental impact assessment process, and is compatible with the requirements of regulatory authorities throughout Australia. Examples of our IT capability includes:

• AQUALM, MODFLOW, XPSWMM, XPRAFTS, MIKE 11 and MUSIC software for water quality modelling and flood hydrograph analysis;

• TNOISE Traffic Noise Calculation Software, ENM Environmental Noise Prediction Software, Railway Noise Prediction Software;

• AUSPLUME (v 5.4), CALINE 4, CAL3QHCR, DUSTCON air pollution dispersion software.

Belleng VDM has quality assurance certification in accordance with ISO 9001 and the Queensland Government's State Purchasing Policy. The company is a Self Assessed Quality Assured Supplier. All of our consultancy services are carried out in accordance with our Quality Assurance Procedures Manual, a copy of which can be made available upon request.
