PRINCIPAL WATER ENGINEER, (GOLD COAST OR BRISBANE)
The
successful candidate will be based in the Brisbane
or Gold Coast office and have key contacts within
the industry and region and be supported by the
highly respected water department on the Gold Coast.
In addition to this, the candidate will be an
emerging leader in the flood management discipline
with highly developed skills in hydraulic modeling
and assessment of hydraulic impact under IPA.
Skills and attributes required:
-
10years experience in flood modelling and/Water
Sensitive URBAN design with a strong focus on
excellence.

CPEng and RPEQ are essential qualifications

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER, Stormwater Management/WSUD
(GOLD COAST)

We are
seeking to make a appointment for an outstanding
candidate with exception technical and communication
skills. The role developing stormwater management
strategies for major urban development projects and
involves a strong understanding of the principles of
WUD and skills in MUSIC modelling. This role will be
based on the Gold Coast and report to our senior
environmental engineer. Short assignments in offices
in Perth, Sydney, Vietnam and Airlie Beach may be
required.
Key
skills required for success in this position are:

HYDRAULICS (WATER) ENGINEER, (GOLD COAST AND
SUNSHINE COAST)
Belleng
VDM, a member of the publicly listed VDM Group,
provides specialist water & environmental services
to local government & the development industry.
The
consultancy is a major player in the environmental
sector & requires several candidates to work within
their flood modelling and water resources team.
The role
will focus on the creation of hydrologic & hydraulic
models, GIS mapping and drafting to assist in
providing effective solutions for all environmental
projects.
An
engineering degree or equivalent is required and it
is preferred to have 1-3-years environmental/water
engineering experience, including Numerical Flood
modelling with experience using either MIKE 21, MIKE
11, HECRAS, or TUFLOW.
The
successful candidate will need to have excellent
written & verbal communication, a keen interest in
numerical modelling and have a good understanding of
the basic principles of hydrology and flood
hydraulics. Further flood modelling training will be
available to help build up the required skill set to
become part of the water group team.
